Mindfulness Based Pregnancy is for women who want to be more present and reduce stress during this unique period in life.
Very early in your pregnancy your mind and body begin to change. Throughout the course we work with mindfulness meditation, visualization, dialogue and other awareness exercises that can help you create a sense of stability in a time when so much feels out of your control.
The course is not about being a certain kind of mom, it’s about creating the best possible conditions preparing yourself to become a mother. Helping you and your growing baby.
Mindfulness can help you:
- Increase your awareness and presence in your life
- Improve your ability to handle stress during pregnancy and when baby has come
- Give your body time to relax and regenerate
- During the course you build a meditation practice that fits into your life and you can maintain after birth
You can start anytime during your pregnancy. You will connect with other pregnant women who also want tools to be more present and have pregnancy in balance. You will be asked to practice 20 minutes a day, throughout the course. Meditation experience is not required, you learn along the way.
