About me

Mindful Ground Mindfulness kurserI really  want people who attend a course, to have the opportunity to feel the quality of mindfulness from within. It should not be a new complex theory to comprehend and feel overwhelmed by. I try to keep the courses down to earth, honest and open.

The path I took to start my meditation practice, and later training as a teacher, has been created by long periods with stress, anxiety attacks, times where everything seemed dark, and a burning desire to feel better. Through my practice, it has become possible for me to find stability, and peace in my life – even when everyday life is chaotic.

I live in Copenhagen with my daughter and partner. We live like many other families with morning tantrums and bags under our eyes… A life where breaks don’t create themselves, they are something we need to take.

I was born in Canada, but I have been based in Denmark since 1990. I lived and worked in Bosnia with the U.S. and British army from 2001 and 2003. A time where I have learned a lot about my limits, and what can happen when the mind is pushed to the limit, and mindfulness become my why of coping.

Education and background

Mindfulness has been a big part of my life for the past 5 years. I have studied with Mindfulness pioneer in Denmark , Eve Bengta Lorenzen for 2 years. Besides that , I have taken her in deepth mindfulness teacher training.
